Smartbuoy is a stand-alone, precision temperature & volume logger developed in response to demand from beverage brand owners, font manufacturers, cooling system developers and tech service providers.

Measuring the performance of a new cooler or dispense solution in field can be costly and ineffective: random manual sampling with a handheld thermometer is inefficient, error prone & statistically meaningless. A few manual samples out of thousands of dispense events will miss subtle cooler faults and out of specification transient periods. With smartbuoy, every single dispense event is accurately logged.

Smartbuoy can be located anywhere you need flow triggered precision temperature and volume logging. Smartbuoy is small enough to be easily located underneath the bar or even within the dispense font itself.

how it works

Every time flow is detected, a time stamped, temperature & volume reading is stored into the device’s internal memory. Each smartbuoy will hold in excess of 2,500 readings meaning even long term data collection in a remote busy site is possible. Powered via a low voltage DC power supply (supplied), multiple devices can be daisy chained for multiple line monitoring from a single power source.

easy access to collected data

Data is simply retrieved by plugging smartbuoy into a PC or any Windows based laptop. Application software supplied with the smartbuoy will automatically upload the stored data and draw a variety of charts for instant and easy analysis on the spot – forget hours of formatting manually collected data into Excel! Data can also be readily exported into Excel should more detailed analysis be required.
